My comparisons of buying bitcoin through Coinbase, itBIT and Kraken.... fees
Recently I wanted to compare the cost of buying bitcoin from 3 different exchanges and transferring to the same hardware wallet. In coinbase I purchased .2252 of bitcoin from them and transferred it to my wallet. 0.2249 arrived in the wallet. At itBIT I purchased .2247 quantity and the same amount arrived in my wallet: .2247 Kraken was the worst. I purchased .2245 and .2235 arrived in my wallet. It looks like itBIT is the best option but Ive also read that gdax doesn’t have a mining fee. The purpose of this was to investigate the best options based on being a non U.S citizen. For example, with coinbase I have to buy coin with my credit card. But the other 2 I can do International money transfers.
